I've been meaning to do more to celebrate birthdays around here, so let's start with our very own far-man!

Happy birthday, farfetched! May you either get what you want, or what you deserve, whichever involves more chocolate and rum. (You'll find other greetings on the previous thread.)

Bulletin: There's still time--until Friday--to enter a major mystery writing contest for screenplays, theater plays, short stories, and a few other categories, I think.

Happy Happy, Far! May the coming year bring you as much joy as you can possibly handle.

In my family we all sing Happy Birthday at the same time, but at different speeds, using any words we can think of. So, in your honor, I'm doing that.

(Kind of loses some of the impact when you do it alone, though.)

Happy Birthday FAR!

Although I know you're still a youngster, how many is it?

Awwwww.... thanks, guys! I'm honestly tearing up a little here.

Age is 7-squared, and that doesn't mean 77.

:) My youngest brother came along a couple of years after we wrote Our Family Song (everyone has one, yes?) so we had to take him on at the end with an, "And Little Frank." Mister was so charmed by the whole idea that he tacks it onto a lot of songs. Especially Happy Birthday.

Great story, kb!

My brain is mush today, so I'm not getting any work done - or haven't you noticed?

Thanks for giving me something to do besides stare at the wall and wait for my brain to return, everyone! :-)

Well let's see, there's cake, there's singing, there's goofiness and good wishes, what's left? I guess I'll administer the spankings. ;p Happy Bday FAR!

Jen, lol! That may be his favorite gift so far. :)

I'm delighted to get to repeat my birthday greetins from the last post since these are two birthday that are definitely worth celebrating twice: Happy Birthday Far. Happy Birthday Martha (my m-i-l).

Both of you should have the bestest birthday ever.

Happy birthday, Far!

I believe that you're an old man like me now, correct? Or is that next year? ;-)

Happiest of Birthdays, Far! Hope it's been fabulous.

Seems we're of an age - I like 7 squared as a description. ::g::

Hey allz!

Got home from the b-day dinner a little while ago, then get distracted with something kind of important (like setting up our healthcare plan for next year).

Hmmm... Jen gets to do the spankings, eh? Hmmm. I'll have to think about that one. ;-D

I hope you have had a really nice bday, far. And may you have 7 squared 7 more, at least.
