A girl can dream

Summer. Slacking. Sunshine. Swinging. Snoozing. Saturday.

Who has to dream? Move some furniture in the living room, put the hammock by a window and have a few umbrella drink handy. Improvise. :)

Ah, Saturday. The most productive day of my week actually. Already sent a short story to a magazine this a.m. I'll save snoozing for the office.

Well it's going to be almost 50 here but radar says sleeping in a hammock will be a soggy snooze.

Great idea, fam! And congrats, Paul! Andi, 76 today - back to normal. I'll soak up the sunshine and send it out to all of you in Brrr Land. If you'll send us the rain.

Yesterday's skating discussion (I went to bed early) - I can't stop. So I only skate on flat surfaces. Or near grassy places, because I can veer off into them and that stops me quite nicely. I just wear wrist guards - have only fallen once (so far), and that was because we skated over railroad tracks.

I might have to drag mine out today. Thanks for the inspiration!

Happy Saturday - happy NFL playoffs!

This looks like a Great Day for all of that, Nancy.

FamilyMan -- WHAT where you doing up at 3:41 AM??

FM, Paul, Andi, Beth AND Nancy, I hope everyone has a wonderful morning and day.

Good morning FM, Paul, Andi, Beth, Nancy and kb. How's your ear kb? FM, if that hammock tips over your drink will spill all over you - so ditch the umbrella and put it in a sippy cup. Beth - I can't stop either. Although I haven't skated in years so maybe I can't skate anymore either. And paul ... is too productive for a saturday.

After a beautiful few days of blue skies while I was in the office it is now Saturday and gray. Warmer, but gray. Oh well.

Today one of my book groups is going to afternoon tea. We meet every month but in December we don't choose a book because we're too busy, we choose a DVD and then get together after the holidays in a restaurant to discuss the movie. This time we chose Miss Potter (about Beatrix Potter) so instead of going to dinner we thought afternoon tea would be appropriate. I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi MaryB,
I think I'm still floating on last night's pain pill, but for the moment, I'm doing OK.

I just finished a couple of posts (one to go up a little later) at E4T. It's 2 years old today! It seems impossible....

That sounds like a lovely plan -- a tea party to discuss Miss Potter. I still haven't seen it. But, I'd like to.

I like that hammock by the living room window idea. I'll nix the umbrella drinks though. Looks like a nasty accident just waiting to happen.

"And just how did you get all those umbrella's stuck there?" asked the proctologist.

"I WAS JUST SNOOZING, HONEST."

"Sure you were."

Hi, everybody. Quick note, then I'll be back later. (Yay, Paul!) The comment I deleted was spam what am.

Hi, it was almost nice enough to stretch out on that hammock. We did some work on the car and I watched the NH Debates.

Did you watch?

I watched, Kb, and read live-blogging as I watched. I'll e you.
