That combo of deep pink, white, and black is really pretty, isn't it? That's the fence in front of The Iron Gate B&B. Originally, the fence kept out the cattle.

I had to cancel my library visit to Junction City tomorrow. First weather problem I've had in about 40 towns! I am really sorry to do it.

KU, poor babies, too.

MIZZOU-RAH, soon!

Beth, Maryb, you going to watch?

I think it's worth clicking on those photos to enlarge. . if you want a real glimpse of slush. :)

I'm settling in to watch. Good thing I'm not a big fan because I'm nervous enough as it is.

No snow here. Or slush. Yet.

That 7 foot 3 center. Gulp.

Rebounding sucks against such a tall team. But after that awful start at least they are still in the game.

(sigh) I don't have to click on it. Just looking out the window does it for me.

I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip, Nancy. You had a good streak going.

No heavy storms here so far, just heavy rain. Actually, the rain has been pretty much gone since 12:30 or so. We're supposed to get another round of t-storms coming through tonight, though.

You wanna see me do something really stupid? Go check out the newest post at my blog. That should get your mind off the snow. Looks like Mizz is at halftime anyway. ;-)

They're definitely still in the game, whew. Maybe they'll do to UCon what happened to KU last night.

Hey, kb! What's the weather doing right this very minute?

If it were any colder here, it would look like that. Unrelenting rain + sinus pressure = Maria migraine. Slept all day. :(

Now working on some background details for book 4. Still have to do some mime work - waiting on my colleague to send me some notes.

Not the weekend I was looking for...

FAR! I'm going to call you FOOM from now on. Whew!! It's a good thing you guys have a sense of humor!

Having that big guy out makes a difference.

Nancy P said...

Yeah, I want him to go away again.

This does not look good.

ohoh Tiller's gone.

I hate this intentional foul part. Have you ever seen a team win because of that strategy? I suppose they must, or they wouldn't do it, but I don't think I've ever seen it turn things around.

Well, it was nice to have company, Maryb! I think I'll go find food amid the snow.

Fun game until the last 30 seconds.

Stay warm and dry N. it was fun watching with you.

Sorry you had to cancel an appearance, Nancy. Glad you still have electricity - that's my biggest worry in an ice storm (unless I'm driving). Glad weather didn't turn fowl for you, Farf. lol

Yay, a cookout, Lisa! Fun!

Cute pix of the puppies, Andif.

Feel better, Maria.

No snow here today. It's in the forecast for tomorrow night. :-p

DIdn't realize you guys were watching the game online - I would have joined you. Sorry about your team, ladies - I'm a Big East fan, so am glad UConn pulled it off. Yep, hard to fight a 7'3" guy - all he has to do is stand under the basket...

Sorry your trip was cancelled, Nancy, but I'm glad you're safe, and not driving thru that awful stuff.

Right now I'm afraid my Pittsburgh team is going to lose this game......
